INDEED LIFE ISN'T FAIR AND IT WILL NEVER BE (PART 2)

One day squirrel, hare and eagle used to be very good friends. They
used to live together, go out together and did everything together.
Everyone had his own duties to ensure their lives run effectively,
squirrel's duty was to go and collect firewood for cooking, eagle's
duty was to go and fetch water, while cooking was hare's mandate.

One day, squirrel thought to himself "This work I am doing is too much
for me. I cant be carrying these bunches of firewood alone while hare
is sitting down and cooking". Eagle also thought in the same way. So
the three friends had a meeting and decided to swap responsibilities.
Squirrel said he would like to be cooking, eagle said collecting
firewood was his interest while hare was contended with his new job of
fetching water.

As soon as they had shifted to their new duties, their friendship and
lives were closely coming to an end. Eagle found it was hard for him
to cut the firewood and he was risking his life, so one day a tree
fell on him and he died. Squirrel found it was risking for him to
cook, due to that, he fell into a soup that he was stirring and died.
Hare drowned as he was trying to lift a bucket of water.

Many are times where we wish to be someone else other than ourselves.
The reason for that, is because we want live the luxurious, happy
social life the other person is living not knowing that we cant fit in
their shoe.

As I said life is not fair and it will never be, it is the whole truth
because not everyone will be given the same challenge in life. But the
common denominator is that whether you like it or not, everyone must
face challenges in day-to-day basis. Though the challenges might be
different, they are of equal magnitude.

So before you wish to be someone else, ask yourself can you fit in
his/her shoes?
